The membership is what unlocks our member price. You pay $20 for your first month when you sign up, then $60 per month after that. As a member, every cleaning is billed at $30/hour instead of the regular $50/hour.

The membership starts with a 6-month commitment and then renews monthly until you cancel. The monthly fee and your cleanings are always billed separately, so you can see exactly what each charge is for.

Cleanings are priced by the hour with a 3-hour minimum. As a member you pay $30/hour, so a 3-hour cleaning is $90 and a 4-hour cleaning is $120. Non-members pay $50/hour.

You are only charged for the cleaning after it is booked, using the card saved on your account.

As a guide: 3 hours for a 1-bed / 1-bath home, 4 hours for 2 beds / 2 baths, 5 hours for 3 beds / 2 baths and 6 hours for larger homes or a first deep clean. If you are not sure, call us at (917) 822-2730 and we will help you choose.

After you join, call us at (917) 822-2730. We will find a day and time that works for you, confirm the length of the cleaning and send you a confirmation. Appointments are available 7 days a week, subject to availability.

No. Before you pay, the checkout shows today's membership charge, the monthly fee after that, and your member cleaning price. Supplies and a vacuum are included. Add-ons such as inside the fridge or oven are only added if you ask for them.

We confirm every cancellation by email, and no further monthly fees are charged. Your membership stays active until the end of the month you already paid for.

You can still cancel at any time. If you cancel before completing 6 paid months, your first cleaning is charged at the regular price of $50/hour instead of the member price of $30/hour, and we charge the difference to your card on file. For example, if your first cleaning was 3 hours, it becomes $150 instead of $90, so $60 is charged. If you have not had a cleaning yet, nothing extra is charged.

Yes. Every Open Light cleaner passes a background check and completes our hands-on training before their first visit. Our cleaners are insured, so your home is protected.

No. Many customers leave a key, a lockbox or a door code. Just let us know when you book. Your cleaner will message you when they arrive and when they finish.

Kitchen (dishes, counters, microwave and appliance exteriors), bathrooms (toilet, sink, shower, tub and mirrors), bedrooms (beds made, laundry folded) and every room dusted, tidied, vacuumed and mopped. We bring eco-friendly supplies and a vacuum.

Not included: moving heavy furniture, outdoor work, carpet shampooing, mold or pest removal and biohazard cleaning.

Yes. Members can request their favorite cleaner when they call to book, and we will do our best to schedule them, subject to availability.
